Ael-y-Bryn nestles on the hillside above Aberdyfi (Aberdovey) enjoying spectacular views over the Dyfi Estuary and for miles out to the sea and the blue waters of Cardigan Bay.

You'll receive a traditional Welsh hillside welcome from the establishment owners who take great pride in their guest house, their food and their hospitality.

Ael-y-Bryn sits in a very tranquil location and is ideally located for walking opportunities - into the countryside beyond or down to the village for a leisurely stroll on the beach or alongside the estuary.

Ael-y-Bryn has two beautifully appointed bedrooms - one double with en-suite bathroom and one single with seperate bathroom.

Both have all the luxuries you'd expect, including TV, radio, tea & coffee making facilities and hairdryer.

Tariff: Double room - £65 per night, Single room - £35 per night (bed & breakfast)

A choice of breakfasts is offered - all appetites catered for! Breakfast is served in the conservatory from where you can enjoy some of the finest views in the area, looking over the beautifully manicured garden to the golden sands and blue waters below. There is also a sitting room where you can watch TV or just relax. And private car parking too.

Regretably, dogs are not permitted, nor is the guest house suitable for children under 10 years old.

There cannot be too many hobbies and interests that aren't catered for in and around Aberdyfi. There are many beautiful walks for the casual and enthusiastic rambler, cycle routes, both on and off-road and a whole host of both wet and dry activities and pastimes that can be enjoyed.

In Aberdyfi or nearby you can find fishing, a full range of water sports, pony trekking, clay pigeon shooting, quad bike riding and of course, a good selection of golf courses. There are several leisure centres within easy reach with the usual sports facilities and indoor swimming pools.

The area is a Mecca for artists with numerous galleries and painting scenes galore. Wildlife enthusiast are also well-catered for with RSPB reserves nearby and the varied natural habitat of the area providing homes to many different species of creature, flora and fauna.
