Anchor Cottage is a charming little cottage, snuggled into one of the many pretty little lanes of the village. It is only a two or maybe three minute walk to the harbour, and can also can be accessed within 30 seconds down a flight of steps onto Seaview Terrace. The small terraced area at the front of Anchor Cottage has become a popular place to sit outside on a warm summers evening, and enjoy a glass of wine or two! |

Upon entering Anchor Cottage, you are immediately aware that the property has been lovingly restored to retain its original features - the beamed ceiling, slate floor and the original bread oven which was found set deep in the thick walls of the characteristic fireplace during the refurbishment. The lounge/kitchen area is very well equipped with everything possible to make you feel at home! A two seat settee and two arm chairs for relaxing, a table and four chairs for eating, and maybe for use when playing one of the selection of board games which can be found in the cottage. A new addition for 2008 is the HDTV which offers approximately 50 Freeview digital channels and also a Separate CD/DVD Player. |

There are an abundance of utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware, kettle, toaster and coffee maker, just like home! The back door in the kitchen leads to a small enclosed seating area outside, this is reached via a short flight of steps. A nice spot for some privacy, or maybe a barbeque! A flight of stairs within the lounge area, takes us to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms, one bathroom and a laundry room. |
